Historic Italianate mansion. Elegant, sprawling Italianate mansion built by William Wrigley, Jr., in 1929. Tours are offered.
Great spot for a fancy dinner. Food is excellent. Staff was incredibly attentive. Arrive with ample time to wander around the property. For bookings at dusk, there us a wonderful view of the sunset. They have paper and digital menus. For the ladies, a light sweater is suggested as it gets cool in the dining hall.
The staff at Geordie's made for an incredible experience. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and upon hearing this the staff went out of their way to make our time with them extra special, including a signed and hand drawn card, as well as a lovely rose petal display on our table. The food, too, was excellent. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone celebrating a special event - they truly take the time to make you feel special! Also the views and the property are spectacular!
I am floored with the experience we have had here. Everyone is doing what they can to make sure your experience is top notch. From the valet to the hostesses, we had such a breathtaking time. The view near the window is top notch. And the varied menu week over week gives me the change I need to keep coming back. I’d come back honestly even if they didn’t change the menu.
Finally had a chance to tour the mansion today and it was awesome! Beautiful spaces and lots of history to learn. Our tour guide was great, the tour was paced well and it was a really fun time. Enjoyed learning more about the history of Phoenix!
My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the steak fries and the scallops, as well as an appetizer pizza. Everything was excellent. The service was also very good, attentive without being intrusive. The main thing to live here is the view! We were lucky enough to have a window side seat for sunset, and it was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening out.
We came here to tour, but the guided tour was full. We were alllowed to take a self-guided tour, as long as we stayed away from the guided tour. If you have any problems walking, you should stay away, as there are stairs everywhere with no real ADA options. It is difficult to get from one room to the next without needing to take at least a few steps up or down.i It seems the mansion was recently imagined to house a couple of high-end restaurants and serve as an event space. One host told me they could host up to five events at once depending on their size. It is all very beautiful and the vistas are gorgeous, but it is also extremely expensive.
THE TOUR: 5/5. A wonderful tour! Visiting town from Los Angeles and I have been to the Pasadena Wrigley Mansion and have heard about the Catalina Island Mansion, but this was my first time here at the Phoenix location. It’s beautiful on the inside, as expected, and the tour takes you into pretty much all the rooms in the mansion, and gives plenty of historical information about each of them, and the entire mansion in general. Our tour guide was very polite and did a great job. The tour lasts about an hour, but may be closer to 45 minutes if you’re in a smaller group. The only part of the tour I disliked was that we were in a group of about 30 people so some of the rooms got quite cramped when we would enter. Also it made it hard to get some pictures without people in them. Aside from that though it was a great experience, with easy parking, and beautiful views of the valley. I would definitely recommend to any fan of historical places, or anyone looking to experience some of Phoenix’s unique history. GEORDIE’S: 4/5. Overall a really nice meal, but there were definitely some positives and negatives. The Good: The location is very unique, and being in the Wrigley Mansion itself is a real treat. The views in the dining room and out front are beautiful, especially at night. You really have a great view of the city and the surrounding mountains. Our server was also very polite, even though it was very busy tonight he did a great job. For my entrée, I chose the Whole Branzino and it was honestly very good. There were more bones in it than I usually get, but still the flavors were very good. The Bad: It is VERY loud on the inside. It was very hard to hear other people at our table for most of the dinner. It’s basically one large square room with zero sound breaks so all the conversations in the room mingle together, and in our case, there was a large group near us that made it almost impossible to hear other people in our party or even the waiter most of the time. The menu could have some more options, it was quite limited. Also for my starter I chose the French Onion Soup and it was very tiny. One of the smallest sized portions I’ve had in a long time. For the price you are paying I feel it should be a little more upscale and closer to fine dining. It felt more like a New Year’s Eve type of dinner. Overall it was a nice experience and I am glad I did it. However, I don’t feel I would come back to the restaurant. I had more fun during the tour of the property. The views and location are great, but the food is not better than a lot of the other upscale restaurants in Scottsdale or Phoenix.
Beautiful!! Gorgeous!! I can not say enough wonderful things about this venue. I had the pleasure of photographing an engagement session at the mansion and the staff was so polite and friendly. I couldn't believe how accommodating and professional everyone was. From the reception to the bar tenders making sure that myself and my clients were well taken care of. I can not wait to photograph again at this stunning venue, every room is a work of art and the photo possibilities are endless. 10/10 would recommend Wrigley Mansion for any event you're planning, just stunning!
