Performing aboard the Disney Wonder ATM so this was my first meal on land in 2 months and it was INCREDIBLE! I scoped this spot out in search of brunch within walking distance from the port. It is a good 15-20 walk but it is totally worth it and you can walk along the pier/enjoy the views. I enjoyed the crispy pesto eggs served with arugula, fresh prosciutto & bread. I also added a side of fries! It was so so good. I had trouble picking something because everything looked THAT good. The ambience was stellar and they have a lovely patio.

Great little spot on Kettner Blvd. in northern Little Italy. Wasn’t really busy (Thursday around 10:00am) so we just walked in sat ourselves and enjoyed our surroundings. Not a big menu, but a very good menu. The breakfast sandwich and the soft scramble with salmon were super tasty. The ambiance and atmosphere was great and their coffee (i drink it black) was one of the best cups I’ve had in downtown San Diego. Off the beaten path a tad but worth a try and visit!

friendly, attentive staff and good food. the leek quiche came with an absurd amount of fries, but the quiche itself was delicious. my boyfriend ordered a half rotisserie chicken with scalloped potatoes, and his potatoes hit the spot. both of our lattes were delicious and the barista tried both drinks before serving them, which shows that they are committed to quality. we will definitely be back.

Been wanting to come here for a while and why did it take us so long?! It's such a great spot, the food was absolutely amazing! We had steak and frits, tuna tartare, mussels and some desert. Come here for brunch , dinner or just happy hour, I think you'd enjoy your time. We will definitely be coming back! Ps there's a nice changing table in the restroom, which was very helpful.

Great spot at the corner of Kettner Boulevard, small plates of food were delightful and paired with some great wines were saw on the wine list. The valet service outside shuts at 9.30pm, despite being a Friday or we'd have hung out longer in the company of good friends and good times!

Ok I really tried to like this place as it does have a cute vibe. However, I came on two occasions (once for dinner another for brunch) and basically received the same type of experience. Food: Ordered a brioche French toast, potatoes au gratin and a latte and all were delicious. My friend however ordered a steak frites and a banana nut bread that took 30 minutes to come out and it wasnt even fresh- I believe we were forgotten about. It was advertised on the online menu as freshly baked, warm with bananas decadently draping over the bread. So yeah, we waited 30 minutes for someone basically to cut a piece of bread that was dry. Service: This is where unfortunately I have to say that on both visits, the service was non-existent. We had to flag down the wait staff quite a few times and on both occasions, it wasn't busy. I actually had a reservation the 1st visit and had to walk in to find someone to be seated. I will say that the manager was working for the dinner visit and was pleasant and tried to "right" what went wrong that night. And I simply just stated that I'd come back for brunch. And for brunch I did, and unfortunately nothing changed. Overall, if you have the time to wait to receive your food, drinks etc, then I'd recommend coming here as the food is quite good (minus the banana nut bread)- but honestly this location needs to improve on the customer experience as service is not desirable.

Casual French eats in an open, airy environment. Might be a little too casual. Whenever I have to scan a QR code to see a menu, I always hear this voice in my head saying: "Keep yer pants on, Stella, this ain't no high class joint." The server asked if I was ready to order before the menu loaded on my phone and seemed annoyed that I needed time to see the menu. The steak frites were decent. The fries were super thin, crisp and pleasantly salty. The steak was cooked to the right temperature, was slightly chewy, and stopped just short of being too salty. The herbs in the chimichurri were somewhat overwhelmed by the olive oil but it was passable. The clafoutis cherry tart was disappointing. It tasted processed and not fresh, and the ice cream was like something from a supermarket. Wine list is not bad for a place like this. Service was poor. Half way through my meal, my plate still full of food and my fork about to land a morsel of steak in my mouth, the server asked if I was "still working on it". All I could think was, "As opposed to what?" At 7 pm on a Friday, less than 1/3 of the tables were occupied; you'd think she'd want me to linger to help make the place appear more in demand. I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, with its substandard service and loud club music, this place misses the mark for being a favorite neighborhood eatery and is too downscale to be a destination spot.

Sadly a very underwhelming experience. It started off with a strongly under poured beer. I’ve added a picture on how it came. I joked with the waitress saying where is the rest of my beer and who took a sip. She just smiled and walked away. For my entree I ordered the Croque Monsuier. It just wasn’t very good. Definitely the worst I have ever had. Light on the bechamel and the bread was terrible. One side had the soft texture with the cheese you would expect while the bottom was a hard dry piece of toast. My wife tried the grilled Salmon. She set it was a little over cooked but not bad but didn’t really have anything remarkable to say one way or another. I really wanted to like this place and I have seen some great reviews. Maybe it was just a one off bad experience but there are too many great places in Little Italy to eat to try here a second time.
