YouTube Anniversary: Hilarious Kitchen Bloopers + Giveaway

Guess what? It’s been one year since I published my first cooking video on YouTube. Just as I launched my blog in February, my YouTube channel also began in February. It wasn’t planned—I promise—but perhaps February is my month for unexpected new beginnings. The very first video went live on February 29 last year, and since there’s no February 29 this year, I’m celebrating today, February 28.

When I filmed my first test video, the camera operator (and head of the tasting committee), Mr. N, looked at me and said, “You were made to be in front of the camera.” Those words have stayed with me. Thank you, darling, for encouraging me, for buying props for shoots, and for holding the camera even after long, tiring days. Your support means the world.

And thank you to my readers and viewers! What would I do without you? Thank you for watching, for the sweet compliments, and for sending photos of the meals you’ve made. Seeing your creations motivates me to share more.

So far, we’ve published 22 episodes of Precious Kitchen, plus a few additional videos, two of which were sponsored. I’m grateful to each of my 1,555 subscribers—thank you for joining the journey. If you haven’t subscribed yet, you can do so here.

To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to share a little behind-the-scenes footage. Click below to enjoy the bloopers and candid moments from our shoots.

The Giveaway

To show my appreciation, I’m giving away a basket of fresh, homemade bread handcrafted by me. There’s nothing like homemade bread—healthier, incredibly flavorful, and simply unbeatable. I’m excited to share this with one lucky reader. Entry details will be posted on my Facebook page. Please note the giveaway is open only to readers in the United States to simplify shipping. I wish I could include everyone!

P.S. Because today is special, I’ll resume the “minimalism series” next week.

Time to go celebrate.
