There Is Hope: Finding Strength After Loss and Hardship

Right now I feel deeply disappointed. Several goals I expected to have reached by this point remain unmet, and my eyes well up as I take stock of where I am.

Part of me wants to give up, but I refuse to surrender. Even if I remain in this valley longer than I hoped, I will not quit.

To give up is to deny myself another chance. To give up is to stop trusting God.

On the path to purpose, we often encounter large boulders and obstacles that test our resolve.

But I will face and overcome every obstacle.

I will keep moving forward.

I will knock persistently on the right doors until they open for me.

I will pray with earnestness and faith.

I will not abandon my purpose.

I will trust God’s timing.

I will succeed.

I will become everything I was created to be.

I will not squander my time.

I will not waste my life.

I am becoming the best version of myself.

I will live according to God’s design for my life.

I will appreciate the beauty of creation.

I will give generously throughout my life.

I will love with the same compassion Christ showed.

I will keep my focus on what is positive and life-giving.

I will be filled with joy.

I will surround myself with people who uplift and support me.

I will be the best friend I can be.

I will move mountains.

I will go forth and conquer the challenges before me.

I will overcome every barrier in my path.

I will win.

Friend, I share this so you know: if you are experiencing disappointment right now, do not give up. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Repeat these affirmations regularly. I believe they will help you find strength and hope.

God bless you, and have a meaningful week ahead.
