Introducing Our Newborn: Meet the Baby and First Photos

Hi friends! It’s been a long time since I last connected here, and I’m so happy to be back. Thank you for your patience and for the kind messages checking in on me.

New Baby Announcement

In short, I’m now the mother of five beautiful daughters. Our newest little one arrived two months ago, and we are so grateful for this precious blessing. Children are a gift, and we are thankful for each moment with her.

New Baby and Mother

This year I spent much of my time pregnant. For large stretches I experienced severe morning sickness that made me averse to food—its smells, sights, and even photographs. It was a difficult season and left me feeling unwell and exhausted a lot of the time.

Because of that, it was hard to continue creating and sharing recipes the way I normally do. I had to take a long break—the longest I’ve had since starting this blog—but I always knew I wouldn’t be gone forever. I enjoy cooking and sharing my kitchen experiments with you, and I treasure the feedback and encouragement I receive.

God knows how much I missed being here. I’m so glad to be back and to reconnect with all of you.

My four older girls now have a baby sister to love. Here they are a couple of weeks before her arrival.

And here they are with our sweet new gift from God.

Below is a photo of me just a few days before the baby arrived—I was so ready to meet her!

Almost 40 weeks pregnant

Now that my baby is two months old, I’ve started to find pockets of time to work on new content. I’m excited to share recipes, tips, and family moments again and hope the ideas I post continue to be helpful in your home kitchens.

Wishing you a wonderful time—and thank you for being part of this journey with our family.
