What’s New: The Letter S Explained

Hey friends — I’m all about the letter S this week.

Songs

I recently discovered a worship team on YouTube called “Tribe of Benjamin,” which appears to be a church worship team from Nigeria. Their singing is beautiful and uplifting; I’ve been singing along and enjoying their sessions. Their passion for worship makes me want to visit that church in person.

Do you have any favorite songs you love right now? Please share — I’m always on the lookout for new music to enjoy.

School

It’s another week of teaching the girls. I finished two major curriculum books last week, and I’m celebrating that milestone. This week we’ll be taking lots of field trips, which means I’ll actually have to get dressed and leave the house. I’m looking forward to the change of scenery.

Spring

I can’t wait for spring. I’m eager for fresh air and blooming flowers — spring is my favorite season. Last year I tried starting a garden and it didn’t go as planned, but I’m not giving up. I’ll sow more seeds this year and care for them carefully. Fingers crossed for better results this time.

Sports

I’m looking forward to playing tennis again when the weather warms up. It will be great to get back on the court.

Smoothies

I’ve been enjoying a new favorite purple smoothie lately — it’s delicious. I’ll share the recipe in the next post, so stay tuned if you want to try it yourself.

Silence

The blog was a bit quiet last week, and I missed the usual conversation. I hope everyone is doing well. I didn’t see comments from a few regular readers and I miss hearing from you.

Spaghetti

I’ve been cooking a lot of spaghetti, and the girls have been enjoying it. They especially like spaghetti omelettes without the extra vegetables. I even tried a spaghetti pizza, which turned out tasty.

Socks

There are so many one-sided socks in this house. Every time I do laundry, a few socks seem to go missing. Where do they disappear to?

Southern Cameroon

I’m praying deeply for my country. Southern Cameroon is currently cut off from the internet because of the crisis that began late last year. We desperately need intervention and a peaceful solution.

Surprise

I have a surprise for you — yes, you. It will arrive as a blog post tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Okay, the last one is a Y.

YouTube

For the past two weeks I haven’t managed to upload my usual Saturday cooking video, and I’m sorry about that. I ran into production issues that I couldn’t resolve in time. To make up for it, I uploaded a video last Wednesday and the response has been wonderful — over 700 views so far. Thank you all so much for watching and supporting the channel.

I plan to upload a new video this weekend. I’m considering moving my regular upload day to Friday because Saturdays have been difficult to keep. We’ll see how this weekend goes. If you haven’t subscribed to my channel yet, I’d love your support so you’ll be notified as soon as new videos are posted. I have many more recipes and videos planned.

On that note, happy new week! Make it a good one with intention and joy.
