Hello everyone — I’m excited to share some great news. Despite setbacks, you can succeed if you stay focused on your goals. After my failed start-up launch party for my beauty consultant business, I kept going and began seeing real progress and sales.
This past week I treated four clients to facials. Today I did three facials, and each appointment resulted in orders that brought me genuine joy. I even laughed out loud I was so happy. Truly, I feel blessed.
I’m enjoying how the business is developing. One client complimented me for not being pushy, and that meant a lot. Some salespeople pressure customers until a sale is forced; I don’t want to work that way. If you’re in the United States and want to shop, please use the “Shop” tab on the right side of this blog. If you’d rather not, that’s fine too. When people believe in the products, there’s no need for pressure. I’ve noticed that doing makeovers while carrying my baby increases interest and sales. Maybe people are moved by seeing a mother working with her child nearby — whatever the reason, the business is growing and the ministry will soon have a permanent location.
I share this to encourage you to hold on to your dreams. I’m doing this for my children — to show them that a mother can be present at home and still pursue income-generating activities. Don’t let your kids hold you back; let them inspire you. With the right motive and faith at the center, success becomes much more likely.
At church we were encouraged to seek God for 30 minutes each day through Bible study and prayer. It’s not only what we do that matters but who we become. Step away from the noise of electronic devices and distractions; find a quiet place to reflect and rest. Doing so will bring peace to your soul.
That’s what’s up with me — what’s up with you?
