Latest Photos and Quick Highlights: What’s Happening Now

Hello everyone — this week’s “Here’s What’s Up” is a little late. I’m sorry for the delay. I’m writing this from my phone while lying down because I’m exhausted. Thank goodness for technology! How is your year going so far? Mine has been busy but rewarding.

I’m now driving my daughter to and from school, and it’s been quite the challenge. Managing three kids in the snow and bitter cold, while juggling appointments and everyday tasks, is no small feat. I really dislike this cold weather, but we’re getting through it.

Over the weekend we visited the Children’s Museum so the girls could have some fun. They had an amazing time. A few snapshots from our day follow.

Small outings like this mean so much — seeing my children smile makes the effort worthwhile.

On a personal note, I’ve finally started exercising regularly. Praise the Lord! I postponed this for a long time, so taking the first steps feels huge. I began working out with the older girls so we can motivate one another and make it fun. We followed a YouTube workout together and really enjoyed it. I also made my first vegetable-packed smoothie as part of a new focus on healthier living. My goal is to stay strong and fit so I can keep fulfilling my purpose and teach my children to prioritize health too.

At church recently we talked about addressing the “elephant in the family room” — the issues we avoid that quietly cause stress. We were encouraged to identify and face those problems so our families can grow stronger. It was a timely reminder that God wants healthy, resilient families.

That’s what’s been happening around here. Thanks for reading, and I hope you’re finding moments of joy and progress in your own life.
